BOWLING FOR EVERYONE
Alvor Bowls Club welcomes bowlers of all ages and abilities and are always looking for new members. With us you can enjoy playing both socially and competitively.
The "Santo António Bowling Club" was originally founded in 1995 by José Martins da Silva aiming to promote a sport that was not well known in Portugal. This family owned green has a maximum capacity of 9 rinks and provides a wide variety of bowls experiences, from competitions, to tournaments and social bowls.
Much more than a business, our green is home of golden sunsets, spontaneous family dance contests and memorable parties. Here, the only thing blocking that sweet sun light might be a skydiver.

OPEN EVERY DAY
10 AM - 4 PM
Roll-up every Wednesday and Sunday at 10.30am (October to April) and 10am (May to September)
Crown Green roll-up every Tuesday from 2 pm.

Club Facilities
All the facilities are immediately at hand around the green: Bar and kitchen with a undercover dining area; Toilets and changing rooms and a greenside seating. We also provide dedicated parking.
Our green
We have an excellent squad of bowlers who form the basis of our membership and can field strong but friendly opposition against visiting teams if matches are required.
